Contact

Questions, corrections, accessibility reports and privacy requests through the contact form.

Use the form to send a question, report a correction or make a privacy request. For an error, include the page address, the disputed statement and a link to the source. For a calculator result, include every input and the result displayed.

Details that help identify an error

  • Specifications: model, model year, country, trim and the manufacturer's document or listing.
  • Rules: the jurisdiction, agency, rule number and effective date. Local access restrictions require the relevant land manager's current map or notice.
  • Calculators: units, entered values, displayed answer and any error message. Do not include a VIN or other personal identifier.
  • Accessibility: page address, affected control, browser, device and assistive technology if applicable.

A request for a repair diagnosis needs a technician who can examine the machine. A local registration or trail-access question belongs with the issuing authority; general reference guidance cannot establish permission for a particular route.

Sending a message

Name, email and a message are required. The message limit is 4,000 characters. The email address supplies the reply address.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check submissions and shows an error if verification or sending fails. See the privacy policy for information about submitted data.

Used as the reply address for your message.

For a correction, include the page address, the exact figure or inputs, and the source you checked it against.

About
Contact; One contact form, no published address, nothing retained here. Corrections with reproducible details are acted on fastest.

Contact

This form is the only contact route, : no email address is published anywhere on this site, so there is nothing for a scraper to harvest. Messages reach a mailbox that is read; nothing is stored in a database here, and the message is not retained on this site after it is sent.

There is no phone number because there is no staffed phone line, and publishing one that rang nowhere would be worse than not having one. The three topics on the form route the same way and exist so a message can be prioritized. A correction with reproducible details is acted on faster than a general question, and a privacy request is handled under the terms set out in the privacy policy.

Before you write

Two categories of question reach this form regularly and cannot be answered from here, so it is worth saying plainly which they are. We cannot supply a figure specific to your machine, capacity, interval, torque, clearance, fault code meaning, because those are model-specific values; they are in your manual.

And we cannot tell you what the law is in your state, because the rules pages explain which office decides that and asking them directly produces a definitive answer that we cannot.

For a correction: the page address, the figure as it appears, and the document you checked it against.

For a calculator: every input exactly as you entered it, and the result you got.

For a figure about your own machine: your manual, which is the authority for it.

For a legal question: your state's own agency, which is the authority for it.

Anything about this site, a figure, a formula, a source, a sentence that reads wrong, a broken link, a question you expected to find answered, is exactly what the form is for.

What happens next

What happens to what you send

The message is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the site's server. The server sends it on as email to a mailbox and does not write it to any database on this site. The email includes what you typed and the address you gave so a reply is possible. None of it is shared with anyone, sold, or used to build a list. There is no marketing mail to unsubscribe from because there is none.

The form carries a hidden field that ordinary visitors never fill in. Most automated submissions trip it. Nothing else about your submission is analyzed or scored. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

The policy is written against what this site does instead of from a template.

Publisher

Motorcycle ATV UTV Specs is published by AIXIS LLC, a Vermont limited liability company. The site is an independent reference and is not a manufacturer, dealer, repair shop, licensing authority or land manager, and it is not affiliated with any brand named on the site. Business correspondence that requires a postal address can request one through this form.

Contact questions

Why is there no email address on this site?

Because a published address is harvested within days and the mailbox becomes unusable. The form reaches the same place and gives a scraper nothing to collect. The form also lets a message carry a topic. A reproducible correction can then be prioritized over a general inquiry.

Why is there no phone number?

Because there is no staffed phone line, and publishing a number that rings nowhere is worse than publishing none. A number implies a service that does not exist. If a phone route is ever staffed it will appear here, and it will be described accurately, not optimistically.

Do you store what I send through the form?

Not on this site. The message is transmitted over an encrypted connection and sent on as email to a mailbox; nothing is written to a database here and the submission is not retained after it is sent. The email itself lives in the mailbox that receives it. A reply would come from there.

Will you reply?

Where a reply is warranted and you have given an address, yes, though no response time is promised. Corrections that result in a page change show up as a change on the page and an advanced check date on the source behind it. The change is visible whether or not a reply arrives.

Can you tell me what oil or torque figure my machine needs?

No. Those are model-specific figures, and they cannot be given for machines in general and a wrong one causes damage. Your machine’s manual has them, and the maintenance pages here explain what the classifications in that manual mean.

Can you tell me the rules in my state?

No, and the rules pages explain why: state schemes change on their own timetables and a published table is stale within a season. What those pages give you instead is which layer of authority decides what and which office to ask, and a direct question to that office produces an answer we could not.

What is the hidden field on the form?

A honeypot: a field ordinary visitors never see or fill in. Most automated submissions get caught by it. If it arrives filled, the message is discarded. The contact page also loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that runs in your browser; the privacy notice describes it.

Is my message sent securely?

The message is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the server. The server relays it as email. Email itself is not end-to-end encrypted in transit between all providers, so treat the form as you would any email: appropriate for correcting a figure, not appropriate for anything confidential.

Will I be added to a mailing list?

No. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no marketing mail, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. The address you give is used to reply to the message you sent and for nothing else. The privacy policy states this too.

How do I make a privacy request?

Through the same form with the privacy topic selected. Because this site stores nothing about visitors and writes no submissions to a database, most requests resolve quickly: there is generally very little to produce or delete beyond the email itself. The privacy policy describes what exists.

Can I write about a business matter?

Yes, through the same form. Correspondence that requires a postal address can request one, and the publisher entity is named on the terms page. There is no separate business contact route because a second form would not reach a different person.

Do you accept guest articles or link requests?

No. Nothing on this site is published in exchange for payment, links or supplied content, and unsolicited pitches are not read. Nothing here judges the sender. The same policy keeps the reference material free of commercial influence, and it has no exceptions.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to know, and a report that can be reproduced gets fixed considerably faster than one that cannot. For a figure on a reference page, the most useful report names the page, quotes the figure, and says which document you checked it against: a regulation that has been amended is the single most valuable correction anyone can send.

For a calculator, the most useful report names the page, lists the exact inputs you entered and the result you got, because every tool carries a version number and a report with the inputs can be run against the exact formula that was live when you used it. Corrections go through the contact form with the topic set to "Report an error or correction". There is no published email address.

The page address and the figure as it appears
The document, section and date you checked it against; For a calculator, every input and the result you got; What to include in corrections, by the kind of problem.
A figure looks wrong
The page, the figure as it appears, and the document and section you checked it against. If the underlying regulation or standard has been amended, say which amendment. That turns a correction into a source update, the most valuable kind.
A calculator result looks wrong
The page, every input exactly as you entered it, and the result you got. Because tools are versioned, a report with the inputs can be reproduced against the formula that was live at the time, not against whatever is current.
Something is unclear or misleading
Which sentence, and what you took it to mean. A factually correct sentence that reads as saying something else is a defect, and only a visitor can find it.

A link is dead or points at the wrong place; The page and the link. Regulation URLs move when agencies reorganise, and a dead citation is worse than no citation because it looks like sourcing and provides none.

Something is missing
The question you came looking for an answer to. If it can be answered from a citable source or from arithmetic, it is a candidate for a page; if it needs a specification table we cannot source, it is not, and we will say so, not filling the gap badly.

What happens to a correction

It is checked against the source. Where the source supports the change, the page is corrected and the source's check date advanced. Where the source does not, we say so and explain what the document says, because a report that turns out to be wrong is still a signal that a page was easy to misread.

Where a correction reveals a class of problem instead of an instance, a figure that is wrong in the same way on several pages, or a calculation with a boundary case nobody tested, the fix is applied to the class and a test case is added so it cannot recur silently.

Security reports

If you have found a security problem with this site and not a factual one, the contact form is still the route. A machine-readable contact record is published at /.well-known/security.txt pointing at the same place.

Corrections questions

How do I report an error?

Through the contact form, with the topic set to reporting an error or correction. Include the page, the figure or sentence in question, and, for a calculator, the exact inputs you entered and the result you got. There is no published email address, so the form is the route instead of one of several.

What makes a correction easy to act on?

Reproducibility. For a figure, the document and section you checked it against, because that turns a disagreement into a verifiable claim. For a calculator, the exact inputs, because every tool is versioned and a report with inputs can be run against the formula that was live when you used it, not against whatever is current.

Will you tell me what happened to my report?

Where a report includes a way to reply and the outcome is not obvious from the page itself, yes. We cannot promise a response time. A report that results in a page change will show up as a change in the page and an advanced check date on the source behind it. You can see this without waiting for a reply.

Can you tell me my machine oil capacity or torque figures?

No. Those are model-specific figures, and they cannot be given for machines in general and a wrong one causes damage. They are in your machine’s manual. The manual describes the machine that was built and not a model as a category.

Can you diagnose a fault for me?

No. We publish how diagnostic systems work, what a code structure means and the order that avoids replacing the wrong part, and none of that amounts to diagnosing a specific machine remotely. A fault on your machine needs the service information for your exact model and year, and often needs the machine in front of someone.

Can you tell me whether a part fits my machine?

No, and the fitment pages explain why: clearance depends on your machine as currently built, including anything already modified, and it has to be measured at full suspension travel and full steering lock. What we can do is explain how to read the part and what to measure against, the answerable half.

Can you tell me the law in my state?

No, and we publish no fifty-state tables for that reason. What we publish is which layer of authority decides what and which office to ask, because that structure is durable while the specific rules change. A ten-minute call to the right office produces a definitive answer; a table would produce a stale one.

What if a regulation has changed since you checked it?

A report of an amended regulation is the most valuable kind anyone can send, and it should name the amendment if you know it. A changed regulation is a source update instead of a correction, and it usually affects more than one page, so it triggers a review of everything citing that document, not a single edit.

I think a sentence is misleading and not wrong?

Please report it. A factually correct sentence that reads as saying something else is a defect, and only a visitor can find it. The person who wrote it already knows what it was meant to say. Say which sentence and what you took it to mean, which is enough to fix it.

What happens if my correction turns out to be wrong?

We say so and explain what the source says. A report that does not result in a change is still useful, because a visitor reaching a wrong conclusion from a page is evidence about how the page reads. Nothing about being wrong makes the report unwelcome.

Do you fix problems one page at a time?

Where a correction reveals a class of problem instead of an instance, a figure wrong in the same way on several pages, or a calculation with an untested boundary case, the fix is applied to the class and a test case added so it cannot recur silently. One-off fixes are for one-off problems.

How do I report a security problem?

Through the same contact form. A machine-readable contact record is published at the standard well-known security location pointing at the same route. Please describe what you found, not demonstrating it against the live site.
