Rider Magazine tested the 2023 Ryker Rally, the 900 ACE version rather than this 600cc model. It says Spyder F3 and RT models use the 115-hp, 1,330cc Rotax ACE and range from $18,499 to $30,999 for model year 2023, and that with an 82-hp engine powering a 668-lb (dry) machine the Rally is not about Hellcat-style burnouts.
The article says the 26.6-inch seat height and adjustable ergonomics fit a wide range of riders, and that a heavy throttle hand with a low power-to-weight ratio returned poor fuel mileage of just 30.3 mpg, or about 160 miles per tank.
4Riders lists the Rally-specific kit: Rally mudguards, a Rally comfort seat, Rally handlebars and an air pre-filter to limit unwanted intruders in the engine.
What this 600cc Ryker is
Can-Am lists the base Ryker at 600cc with a 23.6 in seat, a 594 lb dry weight and a 5.28 gal tank, at $9,699. That is $12,600 below the Spyder F3 at $22,299 and $1,800 less than the Origin at $11,499. The Rider figures of 82 hp and 668 lb dry belong to the Rally.
So they are a step up in power and weight from this model.
Confirm which Ryker you are being quoted, the 600 or the 900 ACE version. Check the fuel range for your habits, since Rider's figure was 160 miles a tank.
Ask the dealer about the service interval and the warranty.
Ryker against the Spyder F3 and Pulse
Can-Am's Spyder F3 is the larger three-wheeler. The Can-Am Pulse is the electric two-wheeler alternative.
Can-Am Ryker — specification referenceCan-Am · 3-Wheel
The Ryker is Can-Am's entry three-wheeler, a light 600cc machine with a very low seat. Rider tested the more powerful Ryker Rally and found poor fuel mileage of 30.3 mpg with a heavy throttle hand, and Can-Am asks $9,699 for the 600.
Older campaigns: 20V632000 (October 14, 2020, model years 2020, wheels); 19V683000 (September 27, 2019, model years 2019-2020, wheels).
2026 Can-Am Ryker questions
How is fuel economy on the Can-Am Ryker?
Rider measured 30.3 mpg, or about 160 miles per tank, on the Ryker Rally with a heavy throttle hand and a low power-to-weight ratio.
How tall is the Can-Am Ryker?
Can-Am lists a 23.6 in seat for the 600. Rider quotes 26.6 inches for the Rally with adjustable ergonomics.
What is the difference between the Ryker and Ryker Rally?
4Riders lists Rally mudguards, a Rally comfort seat, Rally handlebars and an air pre-filter, and Rider says the Rally has 82 hp.
Confirm which Ryker you are being quoted, the 600 or the 900 ACE version. Check the fuel range for your habits, since Rider's figure was 160 miles a tank. Sit on it and notice how low the seat and the floorboards are.
The Ryker suits a rider who wants the cheapest way into a three-wheeler, and does not need the power or storage of a Spyder.
The Ryker is the lightest and cheapest Can-Am three-wheeler. So its running costs are lower than a Spyder's. The single rear tire wears faster than a motorcycle's front. The machine's low power-to-weight ratio in the Rally can raise fuel use. Rider's 160-mile tank is a warning for anyone planning long day rides.
The base 600 has a smaller engine and lower weight, which should help economy. Ask the dealer about the service interval and the warranty.
