Pro S or Pro XP
Polaris sells the Pro S below the Pro XP Ultimate, and both make 181 hp. Polaris lists Walker Evans needle shocks on the Pro S and the electronically controlled Dynamix suspension on the Pro XP Ultimate, a difference of $6,500 at $27,499 against $33,999. A driver who wants speed for the money should look at the Pro S, and one who wants adjustable electronic suspension should step up.
Trims, seating and technology on the 2025 and 2026 Pro S
The Pro S comes in two- and four-seat versions and in three trims. UTV Off-Road says the 2025 RZR Pro S is offered as a 2-seat and a 4-seat in Sport, Premium and Ultimate trims, that Polaris improved the upper door sealing and windshields and added a flat rear panel design for comfort, and that the Ride Command display gives GPS navigation and group ride tracking that works without a cell signal.
Polaris introduced more than 120 new accessories with the 2025 RZR Pro lineup, and the trims come in different colors, with the Ultimate in Onyx Black, Moss Green or Zenith Blue with Orange Burst.
Who the Pro S is for
The Pro S is for a driver who wants a turbocharged sport machine with real width and a long wheelbase, priced well below the Pro R. At 74 in wide it will be turned away from trails with narrower width limits, and it is the wrong machine for a rider who wants to haul. A buyer who wants electronic suspension should look at the Pro XP Ultimate.
Pro S against the Maverick X3 Turbo, YXZ1000R and Maverick Sport X
The Pro S is the priciest of this group at $27,499, above Can-Am's Maverick X3 DS Turbo at $19,999, Yamaha's YXZ1000R at $20,899 and the Maverick Sport X at $18,499, and the heaviest at an estimated 2,013 lb dry against the Can-Am's 1,602 lb.
